Information for Individuals Shipping a Boat
All through the year individuals are shipping their boats. It is important that you run legal to avoid any penalties, tickets, or even impoundment of the boat. Individuals need to secure oversize trucking permits just as a for hire carrier would. Many larger boats are over the legal width for standard interstate transport, which is why wide load shipping permits are necessary. Click here for a document that covers the basics of individuals shipping boats. We also have more information located under our FAQ page.
